Fresh and complex with subtle fruit characters of Jonathon apples, jasmine blossom and pink grapefruit.
Lively and textural the wine is full of flavour and vitality. While not overtly fruity the flavours hint of fresh strawberry and cranberry that complement the long intense and almost savoury palate that has great length and a slight briny finish.
Our collective aim is to produce Western Australia’s defining Rose with what we think is the best possible base material available in Mourvedre. The fruit was hand-picked from our established bush vine Mourvedre with the inclusion of a small percentage of Grenache and Counoise for subtle complexity. The fruit was whole bunch pressed together, filled directly to seasoned French oak barriques and then naturally fermented. Following fermentation the wine rested on its lees for six months to both preserve freshness and build texture prior to bottling.
